Please be aware that fund performance figures refer to past performance, which is not a reliable indicator of future performance. The value of investments may fall as well as rise and is not guaranteed. You may get back less than you invest.
All funds are priced in GBP. The fund performance figures shown are gross of the Annual Management Charge.
The Annual Management Charge includes the underlying funds’ management charges and the Phoenix CIS platform charge. The application of these charges would reduce the actual performance returns experienced by investors.
Fund performance is calculated on the percentage change of the unit prices from the start to the end of the period, and includes any income the Fund receives.
The Phoenix CIS Fund ("the Fund") is distinct from the underlying fund, with its own unit price and other fund specific details. However the Fund is fully invested in the underlying fund. The performance of the Fund will not exactly match the performance of the underlying fund due to price swings, valuations timings or charges.
The Fund's unit price is determined by the unit price of the underlying fund(s) in which it invests. The Fund performance shown is based on the unit prices calculated each day for those underlying funds. Each has a single unit price, which means that on any given date an investor will purchase units at the same price as an investor selling units. Our Fund or the underlying funds’ unit price can be impacted by whether money is going in or out, as well as the trend of flows in or out. Full details on how our unit linked funds are valued and priced can be found in the document Unit Linked Principles & Practices, which is available on https://www.phoenixwealth.co.uk/Literature/Funds/
Underlying fund breakdowns (i.e. asset, sector and geographical allocations) as well as top 10 holdings are sourced from FE fundinfo, a specialist investment data provider. Some underlying fund managers may not provide all of the information to FE fundinfo.
Risk of Investment
-
Exchange Rates: Many underlying funds invest in shares or other assets which are in a different currency from the CIS Fund. Where there are currency differences, prices may rise and fall purely as a result of changes in exchange rates.
-
Counterparty: In the event of the failure by a counterparty of the underlying fund (i.e. other firms that the underlying fund manager is contracted with), the impact of this failure will be reflected in the value of the assets and also within our Fund.
Some funds are exposed to additional special risk factors linked to the type of investment strategy they pursue. For further details on which risks are applicable to a fund, please contact the Client Reporting Team or the Client Relationship Team.
