Phoenix CIS Shortlisted as a Finalist at the UK Pensions Awards

Phoenix CIS has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Institutional Investment Platform Provider of the Year category at the UK Pensions Awards 2023.

The awards, now in their 26th year, are among the industry’s most prestigious accolades, shining a light on excellence and recognizing the advisers, providers and investment managers who offer the highest level of innovation, performance and service to occupational pension schemes and their members.

As a leading investment only platform, offering bespoke solutions to the trustees of DC, DB and Master Trust pension schemes, we continually strive to innovate for our clients to deliver the solutions they require as their schemes’ needs evolve.

Some notable achievements over the past 12 months include:

Innovation:

  • Developing new investment solutions that overcome the challenges associated with investing in illiquid asset classes such as private equity.
  • Developing a new type of report to help trustees and their members understand more about the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) impact of the funds they invest in.

Performance:

  • Safely restructuring assets to the value of circa £1bn to support trustees looking to diversity their schemes’ investment portfolios

Service:

  • Developing our service proposition to ensure we can support Trustees and their advisors with regulatory reporting, including Value for Member assessments and metrics data for the climate-related disclosures in the compilation of their schemes’ TCFD report.
  • Supporting clients to navigate difficult market conditions during transitions that coincided with the fallout of September’s mini-budget.

We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the Institutional Investment Platform Provider of the Year award, and look forward to attending the awards ceremony at the Royal Lancaster London Hotel on Thursday 1 June 2023.
